COME CREATE
How does it work?
We start with soft clay and build something wonderful.
It dries out, we fire it in the kiln, and you come back to glaze. (You can also choose to glaze the day of making.)
We will cover it in a clear glaze and fire it one more time.
What do you get at the end? A wonderful clay creation, that you created start to finish, it is food safe and ready to use!

Our story
Sharlene graduated from the University of Guelph, specializing in Studio Art and Biology - you know, a normal degree. She has worked in several mediums from a young age, but fell in love with clay. Sharlene started The Clay Corner to introduce clay to as many people as possible in an inclusive space.
We welcome all ages and skill levels.
Our philosophy
Practice not perfection. The Clay Corner is about learning and exploration…and fun! Clay can be meditative and relaxing, and it doesn’t need to be perfect to be beautiful. Come with an open mind, let go of the stress, and create!
Clay Courses
Want more than a workshop? Our clay courses will lead you through the different types of hand building. We will learn how to create with pinch pots, build from coils and slab building. You’ll get lots of practice and have a bunch of your very own finished pieces in the end.
